Mr Victor
Mr. Victor is a guitar instructor who teaches students of all ages, skill levels, and musical styles. His teaching philosophy emphasizes creative fulfillment, with lessons carefully tailored to each student’s individual goals and interests. His approach incorporates foundational concepts such as ear training, harmony, rhythm, and technique, among many others.
A Philadelphia native, Mr. Victor is an emerging voice in the local music scene, actively writing, recording, and touring with a variety of projects spanning multiple genres, including modern jazz and alternative rock. He began playing guitar in high school and later earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Drexel University, where he performed with the university’s Jazz Orchestra. He currently writes and performs with Gabe Preston Sounds and The James McGovern Group (jazz fusion), as well as Jet Fuel Soda and Spirit Furnace (alternative rock/shoegaze).
