Ms Kate
Kate graduated from the Manhattan School of Music and is a classically-trained pianist, singer, and composer. She started studying the piano at the age of five, the violin at the age of nine, and classical voice at the age of twelve. At Manhattan, she tutored precollege students in music theory, sight-singing, and aural skills, and she has taught piano since 2016. She has also sung as a soloist and as a choir member in Bach's Magnificat, Mozart's Requiem, Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, and Schubert's Mass in G. When not involved in musical activities, she enjoys skiing in the wintertime and canoeing in the summertime, as well as taking photographs out in nature and reading nineteenth-century Russian literature.
